Hi all,

Yesterday was World Disability day and a number of companies and organisation used this to launch their participation of the Sunflower Lanyard scheme. So what is the scheme and what does it do? To put simply the lanyard is attended to be a subtle device worn by people with hidden disabilities, which alerts staff that the wearer may require extra help, time and assistance while on the premises of participating companies and organisations.
The scheme started at Gatwick airport in May 2016 and is recognised nationally and internationally. Member organisations and companies include the NHS, all major airports, railways stations and retailers including most major supermarkets.
The lanyard can be picked up from participating places and is free of charge. Please click on the link below for more information on the scheme.
